Hi - my name is Mick Rose and I'm the sole director of M.J. Rose Training Ltd. I specialise in training, coaching and performance consultancy. My training delivery is heavily focused on Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), although I frequently work in leadership, talent management and performance improvement/systems thinking. On occasion I work with colleagues from other companies who are always of the highest quality.

NLP to Diploma, Practitioner and Master Practitioner standards

I am licensed to deliver NLP to Diploma, Practitioner and Master Practitioner standards, all of which are internationally recognised by the INLPTA (International NLP Trainers Association) of which I am a member and NLP is the basis of my personal and team coaching work. What I like about NLP is the fact that it works - quickly. I don't believe in wasting my clients' time or money in unnecessary meetings, while I also avoid the quick, temporary fix. My testimonials all talk of positive and permanent changes that clients and students have been able to sustain and my passion is to teach or coach using NLP with as many others as I can, so that they can be more effective as people, enjoy their lives more and help others to do the same. Results are all important - while my coaching and training may well help you to feel good about yourself, my primary aim is for you to be better at what you do and to maximise your opportunities for enjoyment.

With a background in retailing (FW Woolworth and Bass Mitchells and Butlers) I also served for 25 years as a police officer, finishing my time as a Superintendent in West Midlands. During that time I worked in the Black Country and Birmingham, specialising occasionally in public order policing, football command, firearms operations and performance management. I left the service determined to bring my experience to bear in providing others with tools and techniques to not only improve their business, but also to enhance the quality of their lives. Over the last 4 years I have worked with solicitors, property developers, religious and charitable groups, childcare organisations, public sector bodies and all manner of individuals who needed support to achieve their ambitions.
